As of 2010, the company is sending out a card by mail, which claims in red letters, "Sorry We Missed You," and also in red letters, "Call To Schedule Pickup Notice," along with a package number. The card asks the consumer to call (888) 4-PAK-Del or (888) 472-5535 or (903) 839-1500. On calling the number, the consumer is asked for the twelve-digit pick up number. The Urethra Postcard Art of Gilbert and George at White Cube on Spoonfed - Things to do in London
And amusing this show certainly is. For 'The Urethra Postcard Collection' Gilbert and George have produced an enormous 564-piece collection of 'postcard art', in which they have arranged, you guessed it, postcards, in grids and framed them. Some of the cards are shop-bought, and some are found in telephone kiosks. The grids represent the sign of the Urethra, which the artists were delighted to find was what an eccentric Victorian theosophist, a pioneer of masturbation correspondence courses, used to sign his name with: i.e. a dot with a circle around it.

The think ahead buffer - Vacuum
I can imagine some calendar-centered routine that starts with "I'll need that for tomorrow" and works its way out slowly through time into a year from now. To the extent that you can do something now in advance of needing to do something in the future (distinct from planning to do something in the future) that seems reasonable.

scraplab : when i was younger...
When I was younger, every now and again, my grandmother would cut out an interesting article from a newspaper or magazine, and post it to me. Usually they were about a great feat of British engineering, what with me being a boy and engineering being a good, wholesome, boy activity.

Mail: Send Snail Mail via Email with Postful
Address and send traditional snail mail via email on the cheap with web site Postful. In contrast to a similar service called eSnailer, which sends snail mail for free but requires you to sign up for a "special offer," Postful asks for a relatively low fee of $.99 for the first page and $.25 for each additional page. Whether it's to keep in contact with a Luddite lacking an email address or you just really hate buying stamps and finding a mailbox, Postful is a potentially worthwhile tool. You can even set up unique Postful email addresses for frequent contacts so that, for example, you can include your email-less grandparents in an email you're sending.

Efficient Markets Hypothesis: History
Around this time, Leonard Jimmie Savage, who had discovered Bachelier’s 1914 publication in the Chicago or Yale library sent half a dozen “blue ditto” postcards to colleagues, asking “does any one of you know him?” Paul Samuelson was one of the recipients. He couldn't find the book in the MIT library, but he did discover a copy of Bachelier’s Ph.D. thesis.

eBay Watch: Righteous Docs | MVictors.com: Michigan Football Blog
1906 Graham Postcard The next item is a post card featuring Michigan’s lineman Walter ‘Octy’ Graham. The Chicago-born lineman played for Fielding Yost from 1904-06 during the point-a-minute reign of terror. Looks like the portly Graham conducted a few personal reigns of terror at the local bakery. Here’s the postcard, a tad weathered but still pretty cool:

eBay Watch: Making the Buckeyes Sick in 1907 | MVictors.com: Michigan Football Blog
A quick edition of eBay Watch, this time featuring a century old postcard depicting the faces of each member of Fielding Yost’s 1907 Michigan football squad. Here’s the full auction; it’s listed for a take it over leave it price of $325. What just might make this worth it? The original owner scribbled this note on the front, “10/25/07 These are the boys who will make O.S.U. look sick on Saturday.”

Postful
Most of us know people who can't receive e-mail. For me, it's my grandparents. For others it's a friend in the hospital or in the military. We'd like to write, but between stamps, envelopes, printing, and mailing, it doesn't get done. With Postful, it's as easy as sending an e-mail. You can even create unique e-mail addresses for frequent contacts so that you don't have to type in their mailing address each time!
In business, you don't have time to deal with letters. We put a corporate mailroom in your e-mail client. Postful is smarter, faster and more cost-effective than stocking stamps, envelopes, and letterhead (not to mention wasting your time stuffing letters). Whether in the office or on the go, Postful will change the way you work.
