I have duplicate entries in Address Book. I have missing entries on other devices. For calendar it just doesn't sync.
 
What I've done to try to fix it:
1) I signed out of all my devices from iCloud and MobileMe.
2) I then deleted all the the cache files in Library and any iCloud folders I could
3) I deleted all the address book and calendar entries on each device.
4) Went back and deleted anything in Library and caches.
5) I looked at iClould.com and confirmed they had entries in Address Book and Calendar.
6) Signed back into iCloud on each device.
7) All the devices then began to populate.
 
Trouble began:
1) Some Address Book entries are missing on devices.
2) iClould has multiple entries for the very missing contacts! All cutting off the notes field at different places!
3) It won't sync the missing contacts present on iCloud but not the device.

Hi guys,

I recently upgraded to iCloud despite the number of issues I read about on these forums. My initial reaction was a positive one but now I have two things I am struggling to work out:
 
My Address Book's search function completely froze up, meaning I couldn't type in the name of the person and they came up. I solved this by deleting an Address Book file in the Library as per a post on these forums. However now when I turned iCloud back on I have ALL of my contacts TWICE. The worst part is that merging them does not work as the system says they are coming for two different sources. Any suggestions? They only list ONCE on the iPhone.
My Calendar is not syncing from iCloud onto my iPhone. I update the Calendar on my laptop but my iPhone calendar does not get any changes to it unless I sync from iTunes. I have iCloud Calendar sync turned on on the laptop and the iPhone. Can you help?

Wow. Now I find that the Notes section of many of the contacts that were in a Group have been replicated three times. In other cases the Work section has been replicated three times. In a few cases both. And in some cases all as it should be.
 
Is there a bug somewhere?  More improtantly is there any simple way (other than hand editing hundreds of contacts) to remove all the repeated lines?

If neither helps, please try the following steps, but be aware to back up before proceeding:
Reset all settings on your iOS device(s):
Open “Settings”
Tap “General”
Tap “Reset”
Tap “Reset All Settings”
Confirm all warnings about loosing settings²
Let the device restart
Reset the Ubiquity folder on your Mac(s):
Go to Finder.
Trigger Go to Folder… from the Go menu
Enter ~/Library/Application Support
Look for a folder named Ubiquity
Move this folder to the trash
Restart
Finally some users reported that backing up their iPad, restoring it, then reapplying the backup finally iCloud got them iCloud running.
