Installing ExifTool
Uninstalling

Launch the "Terminal" application from the Applications Utilities folder.
Type "open /usr/bin" (without the quotes) in the Terminal window, then press RETURN. (This opens a folder that you normally can't access from OS X.)
Drag "exiftool" and "lib" into the trash from the "bin" folder you opened. You should first confirm that "lib" contains only two sub-folders: "File" and "Image". If it contains anything else, don't trash it because you have the wrong "lib" folder.

Change File Associations in Mac OS X
* Find the file type(s) that you want to change the application to open with
* Get Info about a file that is of that file type, say a .mov
* Click the ‘Open With’ arrow to expand an application list
* Choose the application you want all files of this type to open with (in this example we’ll use VLC to open all .mov files)
* Click “Change All” and then “Continue” when the confirmation dialog appears

Safari/MacBook first to fall at Pwn2Own 2011 | ZDNet
He said the creation of a reliable exploit was “much more difficult” than finding the vulnerability.

“There are many WebKit vulnerabilities. You can run a fuzzer and get lots of good results. But it’s much more difficult to exploit it on x64 and to make your exploit very reliable,” he said.

Bekrar’s winning exploit did not even crash the browser after exploitation. Within five seconds of surfing to the rigged site, he successfully launched the calculator app and wrote a file on the disk without crashing the browser.

The victim visits a web page, he gets owned. No other interaction is needed.

My default search engine in Chrome has changed to google.se and the options in Options>Basic don't help - Google Chrome Help
SO THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD ENTER IN THE URL BOX FOR 'GOOGLE.COM':

www.google.com/search?{google:RLZ}{google:acceptedSuggestion}{google:originalQueryForSuggestion}sourceid=chrome&ie={inputEncoding}&q=%s

It immediately highlights it as a default search engine option, and then you can make it the Default. HOORAY

I would try deleting the plist for the menu bar extra's, or drag to the desktop

com.apple.systemuiserver.plist

Found here:

user/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systemuiserver.plist
then restart your computer.

Apple - Support - Discussions - The process that wouldn't die... ...
This is not an area I know much about, but this .plist file might be a launch daemon or launch agent for cfbackd, which is the executable contained in BackService.app. BackService.app apparently gets installed in /Library/Application Support/CleverFiles.

AppCleaner and CleanMyMac may have already found and removed these items, but I would check manually.
So look for this file:
com.cleverfiles.cfbackd.plist
in these locations:
HD>Library>LaunchAgents
and
HD>Library>LaunchDaemons

and look for this folder:
HD>Library>Application Support>CleverFiles

If you find these items, trash them both and restart.

Q:Can I use Remote Mouse without WiFi router?
A: Yes, if your Mac has AirPort. Go to "System Preferences", click "Sharing". Enable "Internet Sharing", select "Ethernet" in "Share your connection from", select "AirPort" in "To computers using".
