On Technology, User Experience and the need for Creative Technologists | code zen
And Creative Technologists have started becoming less rare to find on the web. Another article I recently read on the Read Write Web blog was on the fantastic Enjoysthin.gs application built by Ted Roden who is now employed by NYTimes as a Creative Technologist.

Enjoysthin.gs: A Dazzling New Way to Share and Discover Multimedia - ReadWriteWeb
A great review from the comments of a great review of enjoysthin.gs: "Holy Jiminy this site amazingly well thought out from a useability perspective! I read your comment "The user experience on the site is a real home run" and thought cool, but I really visted to see what the actual service of boomarking stuff was like." Then I saw the little form field amongst the intro text and thought.. "hey can I type in there?". From that point on I was blown away! The ease of use sold me on the product even more than the product itself :) Thanks for the introduction. Great site.

Enjoysthin.gs - A Dazzling New Way to Share and Discover Multimedia - NYTimes.com
The interface is beautiful and the site is a real joy to use... The service was created by Ted Roden ... The user experience on the site is a real home run; from browsing through the beautifully displayed items from other users to interacting with the site's basic functionality. Creating an account is remarkably smooth and the plush, over-sized displays make us want to jump up and down and clap our hands ... There's even an API for integration with outside services; though we dare anyone to try to make a cooler interface, it would be nice to see Enjoysthin.gs on FriendFeed.
