for all good reasons and most importantly because they work closely with their audience already and have great feedback loops. the apple example is more interesting... but they have super strong brand and service support.

Out in town, see something that interests you, want to know more about it, point your mobile's translucent display at it and using a combination of GPS, its in-built camera and meta-data off the web, you will be able to find loads of information about it.
