In the months since my biography of Jobs came out, countless commentators have tried to draw management lessons from it. Some of those readers have been insightful, but I think that many of them (especially those with no experience in entrepreneurship) fixate too much on the rough edges of his personality. The essence of Jobs, I think, is that his personality was integral to his way of doing business. He acted as if the normal rules didn’t apply to him, and the passion, intensity, and extreme emotionalism he brought to everyday life were things he also poured into the products he made. His petulance and impatience were part and parcel of his perfectionism.

Yeller is a PHP script that lets a group post messages to a single Twitter account using Yammer. It does this by searching Yammer messages for a special tag (by default #yell) and sending any messages it finds to Twitter. It also pulls replies back from Twitter so the group can participate in conversations.

These installation instructions will compile PHP with a configuration that closely matches the PHP configuration shipped with OS X, but with the addition of enabling GD, PDO and MCRYPT support. These instructions will build either a 1-way 32-bit (Leopard) or 64-bit (Snow Leopard) binary for the architecture you are compiling on, or a 32/64-bit 4-way universal binary for both PowerPC and x86 architectures.

I agree with @jdalton: there no size-fit-all loader. I personally use different script loaders depending on my actual needs and projects. Sometimes something simple like yepnope or LabJS is fine, others, RequireJS is a godsend. I'm not sure a boilerplate has to force one in. It's tricky because the idea would be for the boilerplate to make it easy to switch to a script loader... so I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water just yet either.

The Selenium-IDE (Integrated Development Environment) is the tool you use to develop your Selenium test cases. It’s an easy-to-use Firefox plug-in and is generally the most efficient way to develop test cases. It also contains a context menu that allows you to first select a UI element from the browser’s currently displayed page and then select from a list of Selenium commands with parameters pre-defined according to the context of the selected UI element. This is not only a time-saver, but also an excellent way of learning Selenium script syntax.
