SproutCore Blog - Faster Loading Through Eval()
Interesting technique -- load your js as a comment (so it is not parsed by the browser) to speed initial page load times, then eval() the pieces you need later. Only useful for pages that are very heavy on javascript but only ever use a small % of code on any single page.
