Watch: Method Man Stars in Gareth Roberts 'The Mortician' 3D Trailer
october 2011 by squirrel
Every mystery has a truth waiting to be revealed. Time for a diversion from the usual for something a bit unique. The official trailer for the digital 3D feature film The Mortician has debuted online via YouTube. Starring Method Man as "The Mortician", this indie drama is about a lonely man who gets caught up in some dirty deals with local gangsters. The cast also features Dash Mihok, Edward Furlong, Wendell Pierce, EJ Bonilla, Angelic Zambrana, Judy Marte, Dana Fuchs and Cruz Santiago. This looks like it might be cool to see, despite the odd editing in this trailer; I'd love to catch this at a film fest if I could. Take a look below. ...

Badass New Poster + Crazy Trailer for James Bickert's 'Dear God No!'
august 2011 by squirrel
When the blood begins to flow, who will be left to scream. Ohh boy, this looks frickin' crazy! I'm not sure where this came from, but Bloody-Disgusting has posted the trailer and poster, designed by Tom Hodge (he also did the Hobo With a Shotgun posters), for James Bickert's Dear God No!, a biker gang exploitation flick about The Impalers who go on a murder spree then pull a home invasion on a disgraced Anthropologist "with a secret." Somehow there's a monster, plenty of crazy killing, lots of women, I don't even know but it looks insane. Most of this is uncensored and NSFW, so be cautious with all the Dear God No! content below. ...

Watch: First Trailer for Joe Wright's 'Hanna' with Saoirse Ronan!
december 2010 by squirrel
It's assassin time. Focus Features has finally debuted an official trailer on Yahoo for Joe Wright's Hanna, the new action-thriller starring Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, City of Ember, The Lovely Bones) as a highly skilled 14-year-old assassin, trained by her father, played by Eric Bana. We've seen a first look photo and some footage at NY Comic-Con, but this is our first look at the trailer and it's actually awesome, or at least I think so. The cast includes: Cate Blanchett, Olivia Williams and Tom Hollander. The best part about this is that I think we're hearing some of the new Chemical Brothers music that they made for the film. Enjoy!

Raised by her father in Finland, Hanna's upbringing and training have been one and the same, all geared to making her a perfect assassin. Sent into the world on a mission, Hanna travels stealthily across Europe.
Hanna is directed by Golden Globe nominated, highly acclaimed British filmmaker Joe Wright, of the films Pride and Prejudice, Atonement and Paramount's flop The Soloist previously. The screenplay was co-written by Joe Wright, Joe Penhall (Enduring Love, The Road) and David Farr ("MI-5"). Focus Features, the genre/ indie arm of Universal, will be bringing Hanna to theaters everywhere starting on April 8th early this spring.

Must Watch: First Badass Teaser Trailer for 'Cowboys & Aliens'!
november 2010 by squirrel
Yet another movie to look forward to next summer! Universal has debuted the first teaser trailer via Yahoo for Jon Favreau's Cowboys & Aliens, the comic book adaptation starring Daniel Craig as Civil War vet Jake Lonergan. The cast also includes Olivia Wilde, Harrison Ford, Sam Rockwell, Adam Beach, Paul Dano, Noah Ringer and Clancy Brown. The footage I saw at Comic-Con was awesome, and this teaser is plenty of that same stuff, but it's still great to see. Favreau is an expert at building up buzz and this teaser will do just that - it looks great! The aliens have an old school, vintage sci-fi feel and the western stuff look solid. Enjoy!
