Wow, jQuery's documentation got considerably less "shitty" today. It was god-awful before, this is almost passable. If it sounds like I'm being harsh, it is because I am. If you look at recent surveys, usage stats, and web crawls -- jQuery is one of the most embedded payloads on the web. When you're altering that much of the web landscape you get held to a different standard.
