Programmer details problems with the PHP language. I've run into most of these and the elicit responses ranging from anger, humor, and mind-bending confusion as to why anyone thought it was a good idea (or wondering with the back-compat story is.) Either way, PHP is still the easiest web language to deploy and use at scale.
