TripIt's ability to consume the scheduling emails is the one thing I really wish Dopplr had - it's an excellent automation of the trip planning process. still, i think TripIt has an uphill battle: seems like Twitter v Pownce, to me.

i actually agree with Scoble here; it seems absurd to me that the only planes i fly in with power options are the ancient DC-10s. we can provide 36 channels of live TV, but not a power outlet? this is one reason i prefer trains
