Some addenda to @snowded's 7 #KM principles - whither agency 'deliverables' is what we're thinking about
3 days ago by simonbostock
I guess the odd thing here is that the addenda feel 'natural' ie they're things I think I already thought.
And he's also right, this was a landmark post. I use it all the time as a bedrock to understand things. It occurs to me that this kind of stuff is probably way better/more useful if the people you're working with have understood and agreed/disagreed too?
The one I struggle to deal with at work is the 'We always know more than we can say, and we will always say more than we can write down."
This is because I work in a place where we live and die by our deliverables. Deliverables and KM - now there's a thing.

Big question here is about the value we should be adding.
And the takeway is the idea of how people need to be able to disconnect from networks that aren't working for them.
