And this is pretty much what everybody's saying. It's like 'arty' films where you know - in advance - it's going to be difficult so you think harder. Non-gamers just won't tolerate this, so they keep telling me.

This one comes up again and again in my work with people. I call it dysludia - some people can't play games because they just don't get the form/interface.
I was teaching my son to play The Simpsons yesterday and he couldn't stop moving the controller like he's done on the Wii. Even though we're playing on the Xbox.
It's amazing to watch my son with web browsers too. He can use Chrome but the others are opaque.
There's some similar observations made about the great art/newsgame about the Korean peninsula conflicts.
