Last year I wrote a blog post detailing my photography workflow. Since last year though my workflow has changed a bit as I’ve migrated from Adobe’s Bridge software to Adobe’s Lightroom software and thought that I’d post an updated article detailing how I process my images from start to finish. Questions about my workflow are some of the most common questions I’m regularly asked.

Photofacts - een uitstekende blog met fotografie-nieuws - organiseert vandaag een blogkermis over workflow. Dat houdt in dat allerhande bloggers in Vlaanderen en Nederland vandaag schrijven over hun workflow - het proces van het nemen van een foto over het sorteren tot het afleveren van de foto. Meerdere weblogs hebben vandaag een stukje geschreven over workflow en geplaatst op hun eigen site. Anderhalve week geleden heb ik deze eerste blogkermis aangekondigd op Photofacts en gelukkig hebben er een zevental bloggers meegedaan! Een mooi resultaat voor deze eerste blogkermis. Workflow is het proces dat je doorloopt om iets voor elkaar te krijgen. Bij fotografie gaat het dus om het proces vanaf het maken van de foto (of wellicht zelfs wat hiervoor) tot het opleveren / afhebben van het eindresultaat (bijvoorbeeld een fotoalbum).

Ondanks eerdere pogingen met Lightroom te werken ben ik er toch nog toe nooit serieus aan begonnen. Ik nam mezelf voor om niet halverwege, zoals eerder, terug te schakelen naar Bridge omdat het me daar allemaal veel soepeler af gaat.
