Chatroulette Map
This is a neat use of data that's just sitting there. When you connect to the Internet you have an IP address. This has some very rough location data associated with it. Someone has discovered IP addresses are exposed when you use Chatroulette and mapped a bunch of them giving a sketch of where people are chatrouletting.

GeoMaker - Convert web sites and texts into Maps and Geo Microformats
Give it some text or a link to a web page and it'll try and figure out where it's about. Adding geolocation data to web pages is going to get interesting soon and this is a quick and dirty way to do it.

Half Map Half Biscuit
"Locations namechecked in the collected works of Half Man Half Biscuit" slapped on a Google Map. A thing of great beauty. via Midge

Wi-fi in Birmingham
Another attempt to map the free (and paid for, but that's not so interesting) wifi hotspots in Birmingham. I've added my regular haunts in Kings Heath / Moseley and Digbeth. Part of the wider UK Wifi Map project and was set up by Ed Russell.
