Why winterval fiasco continues to haunt Birmingham
Paul Dale responds to the criticism of his recent article. The confusion here seems to be one of semantics. Apparently the run up to Christmas is known as "Christmas", despite it lasting for about 3 months. So by calling the cold months Winterval it could be argued that "Chrtistmas" has been rebranded.

Tenuous at best, I feel. Proper response to follow.
