Anyway, all’s to say that Cabin Boy to Captain Nathaniel Fick, Scourge of the Barbary Coast, sounds a damn sight better than Assistant Pig Keeper, a title Walt found cause to give himself in his head back home to feel like he was in some wise important.

Of course Phil would get into Harvard; he was the valedictorian, student body president, honor society treasurer—it would’ve been a damn miracle if he hadn’t gotten in. In the meantime, Clint had two years of high school left, and Phil was just going to be...gone.

He tells his sister he has no taste for politics, that he prefers the quiet of the summer estate for his scholarly pursuits. He does not tell her that he hears whispers in his head, and that the scrolls all say one thing about this.

“Jesusfuck,” Brad moans, shifting. He manages to get his hands on Nate’s tits, Nate’s perky little nipples rubbing against his palms. In the beginning, for there was a beginning though not an end to this story, the Oracle announced her plan to her faithful second, Black Canary. "Okay," said Dinah. "But you're the one who actually has political experience. Why isn't this Gordon for America?"
