I share this quest. Free me from Outlook, and let me sync all my mobile data with web applications so I can use any PC anywhere.

I must investigate this later. Have already released myself from Outlook for synchronising tasks using RememberTheMilk - this could be the missing piece for contacts and calendar with Google.... but what about notes?
