I've been avoiding downloading the demo just in case it's ace (I'm sure it is for coding types, but it's a fair few quid to drop on something I'd use primarily for writing words).

Fancy word processor thing. I have no need for 99% of its features, but I'm still tempted, because you can set a target word count.

Flsh-based online word processor. Very slick, to the point that it feels like a 'real' application.

The latest doohickey from 37Signals, for collaboratively editing short-ish texts online. Looks more useful as a feature of Backpack (I have a free account there, it's super-useful) than a standalone web app.
