Tory PPC for Wirral West - connections to Thatcherite Conservative Way Forward group, minor local telly presenter, contested and lost the seat before; doesn't have much (anything?) to say on policy, supports various innoffensive campaign groups (women in business, victims rights, local parks, whatever). Will probably win the seat.

Independent candidate for Wirral West. Local councillor and solicitor, running on an anti-sleaze ticket, essentially a Tory/UKIP type on immigration, Europe; vague on health, education, the economy; for withdrawal of troops from Iraq and Afghanistan; co-opts the (fairly left-wing) Pensioners' Manifesto.
