Channel 4 News jump on the podcast bandwagon - the first 'cast is a special report by Jon Snow on cannabis and mental health. (Good stuff - my radio-addict ears cannot bear amateur podcasts, so this will join various BBC feeds in iTunes.)

A major problem with Odeo - the Syncr application doesn't tell you where it's putting downloaded files, and provides no way of changing the download location, and all preferences have to be set on the Odeo site, not from within the app itself.

Blimey. Really rather good, this Odeo business - receiving podcasts made very, very easy indeed. (Interestingly, thankfully, I don't think I've seen the word 'podcast' on the site yet.)

Wow. Various media filetypes get auto-tagged, then cooked up into RSS feeds with enclosures. For example, you can set up an auto-podcast of every MP3 posted to del.icio.us tagged as being 'blues'. And I thought del.icio.us couldn't get much cooler.

Generate your own personal podcast by bookmarking MP3s you find online at del.icio.us with a specific tag and running the tags's feed through Feedburner with SmartCast. Neat.
