I'm a bit of a backup loon (SuperDuper! nightly clone and Time Machine to different external drives + Subversion + .Mac + all text files backed up to a thumb drive I carry everywhere with me) so the Drobo looks very tempting for an added layer of safety.

Scan documents to PDF, store and tag them. Could be very handy for both press releases and keeping copies of writing as they appear in the paper.
