The upshot of the parts of the Digital Economy Act relating to filesharing is that VPN providers in other countries will make a mint, and non tech-savvy folk who download the odd film will have their internet cut off. Hmmn.

The BPI are prosecuting 28 filesharers, RIAA-style. Interesting that they've been spamming people via IM with warnings to stop using filesharing sites - can we prosecute them for that under EU anti-spam legislation?
