The Switched Port Analyzer (SPAN) feature, which is sometimes called port mirroring or port monitoring, selects network traffic for analysis by a network analyzer. The network analyzer can be a Cisco SwitchProbe device or other Remote Monitoring (RMON) probe. Previously, SPAN was a relatively basic feature on the Cisco Catalyst Series switches. However, the latest releases of the Catalyst OS (CatOS) introduced great enhancements and many new possibilities that are now available to the user. Windows has shipped with an integrated network authentication and single sign-on system for quite some time now. Before Windows 2000, Windows NT domain controllers (DCs) provided authentication services to Windows clients using the NT LAN Manager (NTLM) protocol. Although NTLM was not as secure as was originally thought, it was very helpful because it neatly solved the problem of needing to maintain duplicate user accounts across multiple servers on the network.

Allows administrators to inject CSS into the page output based on configurable rules. It's useful for adding simple CSS tweaks without modifying a site's official theme -- for example, a 'nighttime' color scheme could be added during certain hours. The CSS is added using Drupal's standard drupal_add_css() function and respects page caching, etc.<br />
This module is definitely not a replacement for full-fledged theming, but it provides site administrators with a quick and easy way of tweaking things without diving into full-fledged theme hacking.
