Ich habe mir Mac OS X 10.7 im Mac App Store gekauft, hätte davon aber gern eine bootfähige Installation, etwa auf einem USB-Stick oder auf DVD.

Hier mal ein kleines How-to wie man sich einen bootbaren Mac OS X 10.7 LION Installier auf einem USB Stick erstellt. Da Apple den Löwen jetzt über den Mac App Store vertreibt wird man erst mal keine Installations-DVD zur Hand haben. Das Upgrade von Snow Leopard zu LION geht zwar ohne Probleme ohne diese Medien über den Mac App Store, aber wenn man seinen Mac mal neu Installieren will weil einem z.B vielleicht die Platte abgetaucht ist, dann braucht man ein Installations-Medium.

munki is a set of tools that, used together with a webserver-based repository of packages and package metadata, can be used by OS X administrators to manage software installs (and in many cases removals) on OS X client machines.

munki can install software packaged in the Apple package format, and also supports Adobe CS3/CS4/CS5 Enterprise Deployment "packages", and drag-and-drop disk images as installer sources.

Additionally, munki can be configured to install Apple Software Updates, either from Apple's server, or yours
