Slashdot adds a sort of socail bookmarking service to their site. They say it's in order to find stories for the front page, so I'm guessing it's more of an effort to create a Bubbler and keep up with Digg.com than to compete with del.icio.us.

Analee Newitz responds to sexist remarks about her appearance on Slashdot. I was going to blog about this, so I'm glad she responded herself.
