CSV export from a django app. Rad. I have to say, getting my django app to a useful stage took forever. Adding stuff now that I'm up and running goes crazy fast.

Iiiiinteresting.

Interesting approach to populating databases with sanitized data. It's a perennial problem in development and test and I like this idea a lot more than taking a production database and scrubbing it of confidential data.

Same thing happened to me.

iphotoexport allows you to export and synchronize your iPhoto library to a folder tree. It preserves both the original and modified image, your event and album organization, and applies your iPhoto titles, descriptions, keywords, face tags, places, and ratings to the IPTC/EXIF metadata of your images. You can export a full copy of your library, or just build a tree of linked images that require very little additional disk space. You can re-run iphotoexport at any time to synchronize any changes made in iPhoto to your export tree quickly. iphotoexport works well with file-system based photo management tools like Picasa or Adobe Bridge.

The MAMP in the headline is misleading. Really though, it's how to setup mysql and mysql-python on Snow Leopard. Warning there is a weird zsh evangelism thing in the middle.

I used this with growl to watch for filesystem changes and alert the user.

It works ... but this is not how I had hoped to solve this problem. Anyone have a better idea on how to do this?
