Native kindle application (first i've heard of it) that basically runs Calibre on the kindle and watches for unsupported formats. When one is downloaded it converts to mobi. It must be noted that it make NO ATTEMPT to work around or facilitate any DRM. It is a move to make the kindle more open. Hurrah.
