A wealthy Erik, with too much money to spare, buys a mansion in Westchester County on an unexplainable impulse one day. He sometimes meets a lovely young man who he really ought to chase out for trespassing but he doesn't.

Much later, he would learn that the young man, Charles is the recently dead ex-owner of the mansion. For now, Erik simply looks forward to meeting Charles more than he would ever admit and so much that he permanently moves into the mansion.

Charles is delighted to have Erik's company - he has been so terribly lonely since he died; of all the people who have come and gone since then, Erik is the first (and possibly only) one who can see and hear him.

Erik as Charles's sugar daddy. Charles is a poor university student working three jobs and living in poverty, struggling to pay for his tuition. He meets Erik, a wealthy business man, while working as a waiter at a fund raiser. Erik's entitled and arrogant and propositions Charles, and at first Charles is like "who the fuck does this prick think he is, do I *look* like a prostitute?!" (Yes, Charles, you do, but that's neither here nor there!) but the more he thinks about it...

"Honestly, Charles," Erik says bitterly, "I don't know how you survived. Living in such hardship."

He prays to any deity that might be willing to listen that the pain-fear-anger doesn't show on his face. Logically, he knows what Erik means, what Erik's been through (death camps Shaw) but how dare he, he doesn't know, he doesn't know anything that happened in this walls, what ghosts are buried there and--

Charles has lost his longtime job, thanks to the recession, and if he can't find something to help make the rent he's going to loose his apartment, too. He's so desperate he's willing to do anything short of selling himself, and, he finds, even that point is negotiable.

But as the funds in his bank account dwindle down to almost nothing, he throws propriety (and his shame) out the window and asks his friend for help setting up his own web-porn business.

The man’s muscular shoulders flexed in a graceful shrug that stretched his tight t-shirt. ‘Max. Hans. Erik. Jakob. You choose.’

He was considerably startled, then, to find the headmaster waiting for him at the bottom of the stairs when he exited Ravenclaw Tower.

"Ah, here he is. Professor Xavier, I’m told the students will be arriving momentarily, but we’ve just enough time to introduce you to the new Potions master. If introductions are even necessary—I do believe the two of you were in the same year as boys, were you not?"

And the entire world stopped dead, cold dizzy breathless, as Charles’s eyes focused on the man standing next to Shaw.

Only the wall at his back kept Charles upright. He was peripherally aware that Shaw was still speaking, but his head was buzzing to loud to hear. Erik.

Charles is a counsellor/psychiatrist in a high security prison where Erik, a man convicted of several brutal (yet... shall we say, justified) murders is serving his sentence. And during their sittings Erik keeps making these heavy-handed advances, telling Charles how much he wants to fuck his tight little hole, using crude language on purpose, using his larger frame to crowd Charles without even touching him. And Charles is torn between *ethics* and the fact that Erik is a dangerous fucking bastard, and being so utterly aroused by this man that he needs to have desperate, sordid jerk-out sessions the moment Erik leaves his office.

Charles secretly has a physical mutation, but due to people's negative and fearful reactions to it, he uses his telepathy to hide it from everyone else. Raven technically knows, but Charles keeps himself shielded so much that she's practically forgotten that Charles even has a physical mutation: He has cat ears (and no regular ones) and a tail.

Then one day, something/someone knocks Charles out and his mutation is revealed to everyone. Once Charles wakes up, he expects everyone to reject him again, but no one does. And Erik makes it clear that he doesn't know why Charles would ever hide this, because he is beautiful like this. Cue Erik reassuring Charles of his perfection through fluffy ear and tail worship. Sex is optional.

"I never thought about having sex with you in a sexual sense," said Charles. "Not at all."

Charles finds Emma instead of Raven. These are glimpses of what they became.

The bell at the door tinkles, and a tall man walks in. Charles catches a glimpse from the corner of his eye -- black jacket and sunglasses -- “Hi, can I help you?”

The man looks out from behind the Travel books shelf. “No, thanks, just browsing,” he says, and -- bloody hell, that’s someone famous, Charles knows who that is, he’s pretty sure Raven’s a fan of his -- the man catches Charles’ gaze and smiles vaguely, and oh, that’s Erik Lehnsherr, in his shop. Erik never expected to have to take a kid for ransom, let alone the persistently annoying Charles Xavier.

"Sshh," Charles repeated, almost the same noise from earlier as he opened his door and patted the car lovingly on the hood, "This was my father's car, you know, and I've kept her in excellent condition."

AU. All mutants were enslaved during a Holocaust. (no Jewish Holocaust) Shaw killed Erik's parents but let Erik go, believing him human when he showed no outward signs of mutation. Erik sets out on a quest of revenge. One night, he meets a compelling mutant with big blue eyes, enslaved in a brothel, complicating his plans.

Erik is a hard working engineer and single dad, Charles runs a local Community Center where Wanda and Pietro spend their time after school. Erik accidentally makes Charles' acquaintance one Wednesday evening when he's running late from work. Erik has no idea if he stands a chance with his new acquaintance, but that isn't going to keep him from falling for the guy.

Remorse isn't the only thing that brings Erik back to Charles.

Agent Lehnsherr is knee-deep in a serial killer case where all the victims are high-profile public figures. Politicians, reporters, political commentators, big-time charity organisers etc. The only thing connecting them is that they're all mutants and pro-human. The killer's left clues as to who the next victim is going to be, but they're so cryptic they only tend to make sense once the victim is already dead.

When the most recent victim is found the note left on the body makes references to professors and mind-readers, and Erik's the one to figure out that the next target is (of course) Professor Charles Xavier, a powerful telepath and a very out-spoken defender of mutant/human co-operation and cohabitation.

Hank McCoy is in love with the perfect woman. One day, he's certain, they will fall in love and be married. It would be a grand plan if they'd ever met. When she falls into a coma, Hank tries to look after her and is thrown into the topsy-turvey world of her family. And he can't help but be drawn to her rude and infuriating foster brother Alex.

Erik is a single, successful man who likes quick sex with no strings attached. Then, he meets college professor Charles and it's love at first sight, at least for him. Charles, who heard of Erik's notorious ways, wants nothing to do with him besides being friends. Cue Erik bending over backwards to steal Charles' heart.

In 1834, the changeling Charles Xavier, friendless and dispossessed of his fortune, arrives at Ironhill Hall to tutor the two young children of the mysterious, cranky Mr. Lehnsherr. Or, the one where XMFC meets Jane Eyre meets steampunk.

A smirk stole its slow way across Azazel's lips, and his sinuous red tail twirled idly around one of the legs of Charles' chair. Charles arched an eyebrow at Azazel, indenting the swell of his lower lip with a press of his right thumb, and Azazel's tail unwound itself to curl back under the other demon's chair. "You've grown unfriendly, Cresil."

"That's not a name that I use any longer."

"Of course," Azazel said mockingly, leaning forward to rest his elbows on the table as the waiter trotted back to them, with a cup of tea for Azazel and a dazed smile and a blush for Charles, lingering one moment too long until Charles frowned to himself. Within the cafe, there was an irritated shout, and the waiter rushed away, though he sneaked one last, longing glance from the doorway. "How is mediocrity working for you, Charles? You look pale."

"Mediocrity has been lovely, thank you," Charles replied primly, absently, though he took a sip from his lukewarm cup. The lingering trace of the human's want colored the air, mingling with cigarette smoke, making his mouth water, but he controlled himself in the next breath. He could last another day, surely, not yet.

"One of the oldest of Lilith's children, limiting yourself so," Azazel shook his head with arch regret. "Whatever will your mother say?"

Mesut stares. Sami arches one eyebrow.

“Hello, Sami, how was your vacation, you look extremely handsome as always, I missed you, I’m so glad you decided to come see me. Is that what you were about to say?" Sami waits a moment, then shrugs. "Okay, you just keep staring. I can totally read your mind."

“Did you seriously fly out from Germany just to see me?” Mesut blurts. He feels his ears grow warm when Sami’s lips curl into another amused smile.

In which a teenaged Charles writes letters to Erik, a prisoner in mutant prison. This is how a heart remembers.

Erik runs a kosher bakery. Charles comes in for baked goods. They play chess, eat meringues, people drop other people's keys down the toilet, and there's mutant performance art.

Charles is everything that Erik has ever wanted in a man the only problem is that Charles is human.

Unwilling to admit that he loves a human Erik keeps Charles a secret from his mutant friends, till one night when they are out on a date and they bump into Emma who invites Charles to be Erik's plus one at her birthday party the next day.

Charles charms Emma but other friends of Erik tease/lay into him about "the human" and Erik makes a joke about Charles being just a distraction/way to relax, he's a bit of fun nothing serious.

Charles overhears this and is brokenhearted not wanting to make a scene he apologizes to Emma and leaves the party without telling Erik.

Charles' mother finds out about Raven somehow, and because Charles refuses to let her be thrown out alone or mind control his mother into letting her stay, they leave together to live on their own. Except its much harder than Charles expected and he finds himself desperate for a way to make money.

Cue Charles realizing he could sell himself, as awful as that is, but he doesn't think he has the strength to do it. Then he gets an idea: with his powers he can make people think he's having sex with them, and still get paid.

He's reluctant to do such a thing because he always promised himself he would never use that power on someone, but something happens to them that pushes him over the edge, and he caves thinking, "Fuck it, I'm not hurting anyone; they get off, I get paid - it works."

One day while illusion!Charles is riding a client for all he's worth, Erik walks in. And is thoroughly confused to see this guy over in the corner reading a book/even doing classwork while this other smuck is obviously lost in his own world, thinking he's getting the best fuck of his life.

Cue Erik finding out about Charles' powers, and realizing he isn't alone. The two of them start spending time together, and grow to care about each other, but Charles is reluctant to act on their chemistry because he doesn't want to ruin their friendship.

If at some point this includes Erik and Charles getting together, and Erik deciding he'd really like to fuck Charles while watching illusion!Charles give himself a blowjob, maybe even slip a few of his own fingers in his ass alongside Erik, um...you'd basically make my life.

“Michael,” James says suddenly one afternoon, bringing Michael back from a daydream about a tiny child with James’ massive blue eyes. James fixes those same eyes on Michael now, raising an eyebrow, “Do you wanna do this?”

Beautiful, lying, treacherous Charles.
