Getting the 64-bit of Adobe Unit Types from <http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/516/cpsid_51615.html> seems to have solved the problem.

Deleting the "com.apple.LaunchServices.plist" file from ~/Library/Preferences and running "/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed -r -f -v u,s,l" from the Terminal worked like a charm.
