Manhattan sketchup model
From what i remember, this is a sketchup model of Manhattan that I got this from sketchup forum from http://www.sketchup.com back in version 4. I looked through google sketchup forum but couldnt find the original post. This is not the most accurate model of manhattan but it comes handy when i needed 3d model of the city for my project.

Tektonomastics
“Tektonomastics” is a word that we made up by combining “tekto-” (Greek for “building) with “onomastics” (the study of the history and origin of proper names. More established branches of onomatology include toponomastics (the study of place names) and anthroponomastics (the study of personal names). We are creating a new branch - tektonomastics - or, the study of building names.

A Bell for Every Minute
The piece will fill the 14th Street Passage with sound recordings of bells taken from all over New York City and beyond.

During park hours an individual bell will ring each minute from speakers placed throughout the tunnel. A chorus of the selected bells will play at the top of each hour, filling the space. The sounds will be represented on a physical sound map that identifies the location of each bell, allowing the listener to follow the geographic journey of the recordings.
