API for keeping spam off your site

Starting with an online word processor, whiteboard app and file sharing. No MS Office killer yet but interesting to see Adobe continue into online services

Now you have an API to query against that will return neighborhood geodata. Rad.

Uses Bayesian statistical analysis, much like spam filtering, to find the stupid stuff; so far, YouTube seems to be their test corpus (brilliant). I love that this could be a webservice that you could plug into to reduce stupid comments.

Even separates out people and places. Surprisingly good.

Flickr, Bloglines, Vox, etc - learn how to build strong sites

"Determine whether a story, identified by its URL, has been submitted to Digg and, if so, get details like the number of Diggs and comments it has received" - pretty awesome

Not only do I hate these ubiquitous badges, but I also think the API pull mechanism should be replaced with an update ping.

Looks to be the most complete Ruby/S3 library
