SNL launching a video sharing site just in time for people to go back to not caring about SNL
I'm guessing it will use technology from Hulu with some exclusive content unavailable anywhere else. Likely to succeed only if NBC can sue the crap out of every other video sharing site that hosts SNL content. Myeh.

NBC ready to start a Windows-only download service for television shows.
What's interesting is that they're saying their big concern is over piracy, yet they promise a version that will work on Macs and iPods sometime in the future. My bet is that this will fail spectacularly before they ever get around to the magic of making

After ditching Apple, NBC opts for flex pricing and more DRM with Amazon
Ars really nails the crux of the NBC/Amazon deal - basically, it boils down to much more restrictive DRM and the ability to bundle crappy content with the (increasingly rare) good stuff

Apple is pulling NBC shows from the iTunes store before the fall season
NBC wanted $4.99 a show, inspiring a well deserved W.T.F? I'm sure whatever craptacular solution the big old brains working for Zucker are sure to hastily deliver will suck royally, driving folks like me to torrent the next season of Battlestar Galactica.

It is perverse how serious TV executives take this site - I'd bet that the IP block for 30 Rock alone accounts for half a million page views a day, mostly from the same 100 execs hitting F5 like they've got Parkinson's.
