John "@zuhl" Deal has an awesome writeup on how to use an SSD drive with your Mac
Use the super fast solid state drive as your boot/OS/application drive, move your home folder for all your pictures and mp3s and whatnot somewhere else. Nicely done.

Once again, Adam does a fantastic job of talking nerdy, this time with a breakdown of the MobileMe branding. For all the cyberchatter, there are so few people who talk about technology in a big picture way with this kind of clarity, bloggers, take note.

Apple’s script
Daniel Jalkut makes a pretty convincing argument that Apple should replace Applescript with Javascript - or, at least make it compatible.

This is so laughably stupid. Vista's performance problems have to do with the fact that they decoupled their monolithic libraries? WTF? Lots of good OS X FUD in this one, too

Gruber thinks that the iPhone just might topple the Exchange hegemony

ZFS support in Leopard is all but official
I think saying that it will be the "official" FS for Leopard is overselling it a bit, but this is the first I've heard that ZFS will, definitively, be a part of Leopard. Makes TimeMachine all the more compelling.

I really hate to admit that Firefox is the one app that "feels" better on Windows. If they make the spell check thing actually work and allow Firefox to recognize the system-wide proxies, that'll go a *long* way for me.
