Smart looking URL extractor that looks way simpler than regular expressions and handles just about everything I could imagine wanting to grab from a URL for django routing. Neato.

Simon Willison's write up on version 2.0 of the Guardian's MP expenses project. Lessons learned are particularly valuable.

A "dumb" migrations tool for Django - it doesn't try to figure out changes to your models, it forces you to declare those changes. Frankly, I prefer the "dumb" model because at least I know what's happening.

Setting your PYTHONPATH in virtualenv

RDF/SPARQL engine for Django. "Django-RDF can expose models from any other app as RDF data. This makes it easy to write new views that return RDF/XML data, and/or query existing models in terms of RDFS or OWL classes and properties using (a variant of) the SPARQL query language. SPARQL in, RDF/XML out - two basic semantic web necessities."

Looks more like Tumblr than Pownce, nee, Twitter, with a community sharing focus. Uses the TypePad API for storage so it's (theoretically) scalable.
