Tamura Jones has a fantastic overview of Google Chrome Frame
What it is, how to detect and support it, how to force it via the Windows registry. Excellent, detailed overview - if you have to support IE, you should read this.

The browser address bar as the new command line
I've been using Firefox's custom search feature for command line like functionality for years now. It's also slightly hackable for commonly used shortcuts on work projects.

3rd party browsers come to the iPhone, all suck
I don't want to sound like I hate freedom or something, but sometimes you have to question the "competition is good for everyone" thinking. I'm sure someday someone will come up with a mobile browser that will be TEH AWETHOME but today is not that day. I'm guessing the reason it took these browsers so long to hit the store has less to do with Apple's "high horse" and more to do with the fact that they all blow.

Google helped Microsoft patch Javascript in IE 6 so that Gmail could work better
On the one hand, I'm glad to see that IE 6's JS implementation will suck a little less. On the other hand, I'm sad to see its continued support. To hell with shit browsers.

IE 8 performance improvements
Honestly, though, IE is so far behind that a 2.5x improvement in javascript performance isn't much to crow about. Especially with what the Safari and Firefox teams have been demoing.
