This site has one main purpose: to make better district maps than the state does. The state district site is difficult to use with an abominable color scheme, so this site will provide a better resource for people who wish to see the districts they are located in. The other reason is for politically obsessed persons, since it gives a pretty nice view of what party is elected where.

It is a ministry of the Rocky Mountain Synod and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, through its Division for Church in Society. Legislative advocacy is a crucial part of the church's ministry. Advocacy is speaking with and for people living in poverty and those with little or no political power.
