Organic Produce Is Coming to Uptown!
Uptown Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), is a way for Uptown residents to buy seasonal fruit and vegetables, directly from local farmers.

We are partnering with Growing Power, Heartland Alliance and Inspiration Corporation.

Growing Power will provide several options for fresh fruits and vegetables grown by small-scale sustainable farmers. Heartland's Leland Hotel has agreed to be the designated pickup location.

Lakeside Pride is a musical organization committed to the education of the public at large about the positive aspects of the metropolitan Chicago LGBT community through public musical performances, workshops and non-musical events.

The mission of Uptown United is to provide technical assistance to businesses and economic investors located in and serving Uptown, initiate and participate in strategic planning, encourage economic development to strengthen the community's economic base, address broad issues pertaining to the quality of life for Uptown's diverse population, and be a network to encourage partnerships.
