RepoView: Planet CCRMA Testing for Fedora 16 Source
SuperCollider is an object oriented programming environment for
real-time audio and video processing. It is one of the finest and most
versatile environments for signal processing and especially for
creating music applications of all kinds, such as complete
compositions, interactive performances, installations etc

Google Web Fonts Anonymous Pro
Anonymous Pro is a family of four fixed-width fonts designed especially with coding in mind. Characters that could be mistaken for one another (O, 0, I, l, 1, etc.) have distinct shapes to make them easier to tell apart in the context of source code.

Anonymous Pro also features an international, Unicode-based character set, with support for most Western and European Latin-based languages, Greek, and Cyrillic. It also includes special "box drawing" characters for those who need them

Modality is a system for developing modal electro instruments.
The project provides a high level electro-instrumental model that can be assembled in a wide variety of ways. Users develop instruments based
on the generalized internal model either by using the Modality GUIs, by directly writing configuration files, and/or via direct access to objects via
the SuperCollider environment and 3rd party plugins

Risset rhythm - eternal accelerando
Roger Shepard invented a method for creating a musical scale which can seem to increase in pitch forever. Jean-Claude Risset extended this and applied it to rhythm as well as pitch, realising that a sound could be created whose tempo appeared to speed up (or slow down) indefinitely.

Here's one way to achieve this effect in SuperCollider, taking a recorded breakbeat as a basis:

SCHEDULING AND COMPOSING WITH RISSET ETERNAL ACCELERANDO RHYTHMS
ean-Claude Risset described an “eternal accelerando” il- lusion, related to Shepard tones, in which a rhythm can be constructed to give the perception of continuous ac- celeration. The effect can in principle be derived from any rhythmic template, producing patterns with aspects of fractal self-similarity. Any attempt to use it composition- ally must address the difficult issue of scheduling events (notes, beats) and structural changes in a way that inte- grates with the multi-layered self-similar rhythmic struc- ture. In this paper we develop an approach to scheduling rhythms, melodies and structural changes over a Risset accelerando (or decelerando) framework. We derive the mappings which allow note sequences and sample play- back to be incorporated. We discuss some compositional choices available within this framework, and demonstrate them via audio examples

Eisenkraut
The audio file editor, baptised 'Eisenkraut', came into existance (as a scaffold) during a project class on audio programming in Java at the SeaM in Weimar. It is distinguished by a number of traits which makes it particularly interesting in the field of computer music: There are no restrictions with regard to the number of channels in a file, and there is an OSC interface via which the functionality can be extended, for example using the SuperCollider language. Possible applications of such extensions are the transfer of marker information or the maintainance of meta data for segmented files, the algorithmic editing (cut/copy/paste) of files, or the addition of your own sound transformations or special decoders (e.g. an MS matrix).

The ixi lang live coding environment is a simple visual system presenting a high entry-level control over synth definitions and samples in SuperCollider. The core idea is to represent events in a spatial layout, thus merging musical code and musical scores. The score is active, i.e., if a method is performed upon the score, it changes in real time.

Overtone is an open source audio environment being created to explore musical ideas from synthesis and sampling to instrument building, live-coding and collaborative jamming. We use the SuperCollider synth server as the audio engine, with Clojure being used to develop the APIs and the application. Synthesizers, effects, analyzers and musical generators can be programmed in Clojure.
