LiveControl is a MIDI Remote script that allows you to control Ableton Live directly from your iPad or iPod using TouchOSC. It supports full automapping and as such parameters do not need to be midi mapped, furthermore is does not require Osculator.

IPhone owners who want to use software not blessed by Apple may now do so without fear of legal repercussions.

The Library of Congress, which has the power to define exceptions to an important copyright law, said on Monday that it was legal to bypass a phone’s controls on what software it will run to get “lawfully obtained” programs to work.

The soaring popularity of smart phones has created a new type of entrepreneur - the "app developer".

Mobile analytics firm Flurry says Google’s Nexus One is a sales flop. Using estimates based on usage of its apps, Flurry believes that the new Android-driven smart phone debuted to dismal sales.

The same metrics show that Motorola’s Droid launched to better-than-expected numbers, selling over one million units faster than the iPhone did when it was released in 2007.
