Two fashion enthusiasts located in the D.C Metropolitan 
area with particular interests in Asian culture which 
includes style, arts, and entertainment. We want to 
enlighten the Western world on these concepts and give 
a voice to young aspiring Asian-American designers and 
stylists across the fashion capitols of the world. We will 
do this by working to fuse Eastern and Western trends 
into one cohesive industry, showing that there are no 
boundaries between the two worlds.

Digital Toolbox
We are working on digital tools for extracting semantic meaning from raw data, and for applying emotion to generative music. Some of the tools aim to find phrase boundaries, measure onset density and detect emotion by fuzzy logic. Another set of tools will generate melody based using probabilistic methods.

Notations 21 is a collection of modern developments in musical language and notational systems used by a variety of contemporary composers from around the globe. The book is a journey from the borders of musical convention to the radical and experimental. It explores where music notation meets the visual arts. The musical scores found in this book were created by composers whose creativity could not be confined by the staff and clef of traditional western notation, but whose musical language communicates with the contemporary audience in a uniquely powerful way.

Amid the global uncertainties of our times, failure has become a central subject of investigation in recent art. Celebrating failed promises and myths of the avant-garde, or setting out to realize seemingly impossible tasks, artists have actively claimed the space of failure to propose a resistant view of the world. Here success is deemed overrated, doubt embraced, experimentation encouraged, and risk considered a viable strategy. The abstract possibilities opened up by failure are further reinforced by the problems of physically realizing artworks—wrestling with ideas, representation, and object-making. By amplifying both theoretical and practical failure, artists have sought new, unexpected ways of opening up endgame situations, ranging from the ideological shadow of the white cube to unfulfilled promises of political emancipation. Between the two subjective poles of success and failure lies a space of potentially productive operations where paradox rules and dogma is refused. This collection of writings, statements, mediations, fictions, polemics, and discussions identifies failure as a core concern in cultural production. Failure identifies moments of thought that have eschewed consensus, choosing to address questions rather than answers

XLR8R (pronounced "accelerator") is a magazine and website that covers music, culture, style, and technology. It was founded as a newsprint 'zine in 1993 by publisher Andrew Smith in Seattle; the magazine currently has offices in San Francisco and New York. The Art of Science exhibition explores the interplay between science and art. These practices both involve the pursuit of those moments of discovery when what you perceive suddenly becomes more than the sum of its parts. Each piece in this exhibition is, in its own way, a record of such a moment.
