Tonika
"Tonika is a routing and security infrastructure for fully independent distributed social networks. Users of Tonika are equal citizens in a private and secure Internet of their own. Every user obtains a permanent anonymous URL, under which they can publish content or services. Low-level physical message exchange occurs only between pairs of related users in an encrypted and authenticated fashion. Yet, a novel routing algorithm allows for establishing anonymous and encrypted communication between any pair of users (specified by their URLs), in a manner that scales to billions."

ThreeTags.
An online notebook (like SimpleNote) which encrypts all your notes. Encryption/Decryption is done on the client side, so the web service doesn't know what you are storing.

A Whole Lotta Nothing: It\'s the user experience, stupid.
Every so often I\'ll harass everyone I know to start using PGP or something similar to encrypt all their mail. That goes over really well.
