Usability in Icons | Stiern
Do (inexperienced) people understand the "chain" or "globe" icons for creating links in a CMS? I've had to do this training myself. I'm torn: on the one hand it would be nice to have something more immediately understandable, on the other it's not terribly difficult to train people to recognize. (On the third hand, a lot of people don't get the concept of writing "what you want to be the link" and then highlighting it to create a link right off the bat either.)

Nice, all the "framework" type themes gathered together in one spot! Will be nice to do some comparisons. (Have used Sandbox extensively, am now using Thematic-based theme for friends of the library. Plus Carrington looks interesting.)

Carrington JAM (Just Add Markup) 1.0 - Carrington
"Carrington JAM is a completely stripped down theme skeleton, including just essential WordPress theme template tags and the Carrington file structure. It hardly includes any XHTML markup and no CSS at all." That looks like my new go-to theme, even more so than Sandbox.
