Approximately the same recipe I've made a few times. Made with 4 cups of water, not 6, and added a splash of half & half at the end. (And the recipe says to cook the kale for 30 minutes...that should be the POTATOES.)

I tried this a few years ago; the soup I made turned out pretty lousy, but I think that was mostly a poor choice of noodles. (whole wheat. bleh.) Might give it another shot. Comments have some good notes about safer cooling methods.

from Dylan. this sounds freakin' tasty. when I make chili, I start with a Jamie Oliver (yeah, I know) recipe. there are definitely some things to try here, especially with the spicing, which has given me trouble.
