pretty good, although the bottom was a hair overcooked. also, substituted 1/2 tsp lemon extract for the zest.

also, interesting tip about keeping yeast in the freezer rather than the fridge. makes sense.

only planning to make one pie but could only find big cans of pumpkin, so looking for a good bread recipe.

crazy! I had no idea. (an aunt gave me a crockpot for Xmas when I was in college...I gave it to the Children's Museum yardsale in '96? '97? wishing I hadn't.)

yeah, yeah, everybody's linking to this. but I think I will give it a try...I could probably bake it in my much loved cassarole pyrex. the trick will be finding a warm space that isn't likely to be attacked by cats.
