In which Blaine tries to find a niche to fill with Kurt and keeps getting niche-blocked by all of Kurt's friends. This was wholly, utterly hilarious, and perfectly, ridiculously fun, and still lovingly, brilliantly in character. Also, adorable to extremes I can't express. Just a joy, from start to finish, in every way, from the thrill of recognition I felt at Blaine's terrible logic and motives to the snorts of laughter I could not hold back watching him fail miserably (but so earnestly!) at every turn.

In which Kurt is upset that Blaine has only ever called him cute or adorable, and Puck and Blaine work to make him feel better. I didn't like Blaine so much in this. His speech at the end was kind of weird and seemed like he was overcompensating and anyway, it didn't work for me. But Puck, man. Puck in this was so badass and hilarious, I cannot even talk about it. Two thumbs way, way up.

In which Kurt conducts multiple social experiments (experiments with fashion, destructing the Celibacy Club), has a secret admirer who is not so secret, and cliches and heart-warming lessons abound. D'awwwwwwwww. This was awesome.

In which adolescence is a trying time for everyone, but Kurt is taking it with a unique kind of despairing sarcasm. Which contains the lines: "'Because if this is — I don't know, some kind of date,' Burt says, 'I want to talk to him.' Kurt has a vivid and terrible mental image of how that would go. 'Oh, sure,' he lies. 'And by talk to him,' Burt elaborates, 'I mean hit him with this tire iron.' Sighing at the tire iron, Kurt says, 'I gathered, Dad.'" Man, I loved this fic so fucking much. Teenagers, man! They're hilarious.

In which Puck proves that he can wear a dress to school and people will think it's cool, after he gets a little help. HahahaHA, yes.
