In which the wincest becomes canon (kind of, a little bit) and this causes things with Jared and Jensen to take a turn.

In which Jared and Jensen are recast into the late Regency. This fic is a masterpiece. It's connection to the real people it's slashing is tenuous at best, it could be considered original fiction, but I don't hold that against it. It's difficult to explain how engrossing this fic is, but at 150,000+ words, I still burned though a PODFIC of it in 2 days, utterly helpless to tear myself away from this world or these characters. Moreover, it deals in the historical details and atmosphere in a laudably accurate and realistic way, without sacrificing the dramatic irony and pathos that we in the 21C feel toward a gay love affair set 100+ years before it was possible for such a love to be realized in the wider world. This fic made me sit down and really think about the people I love in my life, how lucky I am to have all of them, and to have passion, and to have freedom, and it takes a special power to cause that depth of reflection.

In which Jensen misdials Jared when he's trying to have phone sex, but when he calls back to apologize, the talk doesn't really manage to stay clean. For a filthy phone sex kink meme fill, this fic was surprisingly adorable.

In which Jared is an adorably earnest serial dater and Jensen is a cynical, but intrigued waiter at the hottest first date restaurant in town. THISSSSSSS. THIS SO MUCH. All the best romcom movie plot and banter, all the hottest fanfic resolution of sexual tension, all in one AWESOME FIC. Ahhhh, approved so hard I think my thumbs are gonna go up in flames. A+++

In which Jared is waging a flirting campaign to get Jensen and he's not planning on stopping for anything, even if it means learning bass in less than a month to audition for Jensen's band.

LOOOOOOOOVE. I LOVE MONTAGE VIDS OF THESE TWO. THEY MAKE ME SMILE SO MUCH. Also, this was a really, really well done vid. Even though the quality was really varied between episodes, con vids, commericals, etc, the editor managed to make it all fit together really well. A+

In which Jensen gets laid up with very effective painkillers, Jared puts up with it, and their love is very loopy and adorable. Part of the Reinventing Love 'verse. Hahaha, Jensen watching soap operas while high on painkillers will never not be funny (and ironic!).

This actually presents a compelling case, weirdly enough. Also, you will walk away with a stupid smile on your face, absolutely guaranteed.

In which Jensen is a bank teller and Jared has a little niece who likes lollipops. It was destiny, lololol.

In which 19 year-old Jensen follows Jeff home for Christmas break, and meets his 15 year-old brother Jared. Chemistry happens, then biology (harharhar).

In which Jared and Jensen are accidentally outed, maybe? OH MAN. If it ever happened for real, it would happen like this. In the running for most epic final line ever. Stay classy, CW!

In which they dance around each other for years until Chad of all people finally intercedes.

Oo-oo-ooooh. I really like this song, though I'm not sure the lyrics work for them as well as the melody works for this vid.

In which Jared and Jensen have been in love practically since birth, and once Jared figures that out and they actually get together their love seems to take on nothing but adorable, fluffy steam. So, I really loved the first part of this, the Superbad reelfic, and I really liked the rest of it. However, and I never thought I would say this, there is TOO MUCH SEX in this series. The fic where they progress into college is a heaping 83,000 words and I swear half of that is sex scenes and half of that half is totally superfluous indulgence. I hate skimming most of the time, but there were points where I was so desensitized that I just skimmed sex scenes for dialogue or romantic development and more and more I was surprised to note just how many paragraphs I could totally skip over. I get that they're horny young boys, but still! That being said, this series is excellent established relationship fic. Even the superfluous sex is well written. Be jealous of their epic gay love! I know I am.

Just plain awesome. I've watched this maybe 7 times, and every single time I go to watch it again I'm like "what is that q&a thing called? p-something?" and then I have to troll google and youtube for like 10 minutes looking for it. Then I remembered this interesting site called delicious, lol. Not just for gay porn, self!

In which Superbad is rewritten with a J2 spin. If the movie this fic is based on had ended with an epic gay love epiphany, I probably would have actually enjoyed it. As it is, this fic is great. The universe has sort of blown up to a daunting size since it was first written, but this is an encouraging start.

This just made my life about a hundred times brighter.

In which an awkward Hallmark Christmas romcom gets the J2AU treatment to great effect.

In which there is a (THE <3) political AU.

In which Jensen is a huge gay dork who feels like he doesn't fit in anywhere, but then Jared gambols into his life and things start to take a turn for the better. I mean it about the dork thing. He has a Dalek costume and climbs in it to exterminate things when he's feeling stressed. It's AWESOME.

In which Jared is hired as Jensen's mover, and he definitely moves Jensen. Joking aside, this fic was warm and lovely.

In which they're the protagonists of a Danish teen romcom. Awesome YA novel AU, basically.

In which, years later, they end up living together again. I like the broken-ness off this, and the small ways you see the cracks knitting together.

In which they meet at college in LA and discover how awesome it is to have found the stable relationship you want to be in for the rest of your life. In which there are a lot of someecards being bandied about. In which Mike/Tom makes up a secondary pairing, but whatever, I can deal. This was lovely! Humorous college AU with a shit ton of someecards! It's like it was tailor made for me!

In which heaven and hell is living with other people. This is the most exquisite thing. I know bubkus about J2 so for me this is unadulterated living together UST (which is one of my absolute favorite things in the entire world) with no annoying tugs at my memory or conscience relating to their real lives. Beyond that, it is just superbly put together--uproariously funny and genuinely heart-breaking in turns, always grounded and warm. A++

A whole lovely, hilarious series.
