In one way, I really liked this post because it hit a lot of the major points that I picked up on in the show. I also see Dean as bisexual--although I don't see him as "out" like this girl does--for all of these reasons and more. I didn't really appreciate the Sam/Dean bias, but I could see where she was coming from and her analysis of Sex & Violence really rang true for me in a lot of ways. BUT this post failed to bring up Castiel, and his absolute absence from this post seems to be a conscious avoidance. This annoyed me and made me retroactively change my opinion of the overall post from general agreement to what I might have to characterize as grudge-fueled skepticism. Seriously, either take off the tin hat, or represent all the tin hats. Only keeping your own on makes your argument seem suspicious.

In which Dean is no homophobe, but there are some things he just doesn't want to see Sam doing. Hilarious and kind of super ADORABLE. Awwww, Dean.

In which Dean tries to figure out what to do with himself after Sam leaves, post Good God, Y'All. Single most heart-breaking thing I've ever read: "He stands slowly and walks toward the Impala. 'At least I still have you, huh, sweetheart?' The question falls flat, and for the first time, he looks and sees nothing but a stupid car." DDDDDDDDDDDDDD:

In which we see the course of future!Dean's life in The End from him saying no to Sam to him dying by Lucifer's hand. And that course is like a great, shuddering fall into a briar patch of horror and despair. Owwwwwwwwwww. But Jesus, the characterization is so spot on. There are tears in my eyes.

Hahaha, Dean is a little bit ridiculous a lot of the time.

In which Dean has trust issues, and for good reason. Oh my God, give this boy a hug. Though honestly, the one that gutted me the most was the last one. Jesus.

Dean's issues with faith in seasons 1 and 2. Sad that what I got out of this when I first watched it was primarily a really pretty crash course in important Dean scenes in seasons 1 and 2.
