In which they meet as rival contestants on Project Runway. Amazing!!! I kind of can't process how pretty and delicate and freely, tenderly drawn this is. It's quieter than you'd really expect from a Project Runway AU, but one of the loveliest things about this fic is how calm it shows Merlin and Arthur are when they face a storm of drama together, keeping each other as their stable center point. Completely enjoyable. Also, the bonus Chris/Zach was kind of awesome, though I'm sorry, I can't imagine a world where Zach is a great fashion designer. Chris, almost. Zach, not at all.

In which Chris is feeling down about Zach's reluctance to start a relationship, so his costar Tom Hardy figures out a great way to cheer him up. This fic... how does this fic exist? It's like some divine revelation of hotness, I don't even. The third is indeed the Cumberbatch, if you weren't sure. I just. I don't. Hnnng.

In which they go on a lot of lunch dates, not date-dates of course, before Zach realizes what is really happening here. This was just, adorable, and boring, and just so perfectly right. Just lovely. That about covers it.

In which Chris writes unsent letters to Zach years after Chris has left him--gotten married, had a son--wherein he finally admits that he made a mistake and Zach was It. This is a sequel of sorts to The Book of Hours, and if Zach's voice was sentimental bordering on pretentious, then Chris's voice is sentimental bordering on treacly, but once again, it kind of works for the story, and it kind of works for me. A nice fic about the one that never really got away.

In which Zach writes Chris letters while they're apart. Okay, so this sentimental bordering on pretentious, but that kind of works for a Zach voice, and I am in a sentimental bordering on pretentious kind of a mood, so it kind of works for me, too.

In which drunken spin the bottle leads to the acknowledgement and resolution of some serious UST. Which contains the lines: "You keep condoms in a half-assed accent piece from Ikea?" "It's got a Celtic knot . . . thing!" Zach defends. He can feel Chris shaking with laughter. "Shut up! It sits well with the feng shui of the room, it's like—oh my God shut up, Chris!"

In which they are hyperintellectual and yet also incredibly stupid. This was alternatively crying-with-laughter hilarious and crying-with-tenderness beautiful. It's a rare and precious combination.

In which Chris house and pet sits for Zach while he's in NY and there is a lot of pining going on, harharharhar. Aww, I love them and I love this. Adorable.

In which their lives are a gay LA AU of the Taylor Swift music video.

In which Chris is maybe a little too curious about the blind items about Zach. D'awwww, hahaha. This was cute and funny and definitely hot.

In which Chris has a kid and hires a live-in hipster manny named Zach. This was utterly wonderful and hilarious and generally awesome, the end.

In which Zach finds Chris' porn folder, and there's something surprising in there. Which contains the line: “'Just, y’know, curious,' says Zach, pretending to be the nonchalant-est motherfucker in Nonchalantville on National Nonchalant Day." This fic is clearly the brainchild of someone who reads a lot of ontd, and I mean that in the best way possible. Hyper-articulate, ragingly hilarious, totally hot, and actually kind of romantic.

In which the pressure of the paps drives them apart for a while.

In which Zach is in love with his best friend, and he's trying to be content with pining from afar. The ending to this sort of fell apart on schmoopy cliches and weak writing, but the rest of it was awesome and cute and lovely.

In which Chris keeps stealing Zach's clothes.

DEAR GOD, THIS IS AMAZING. In which Chris is dealing with something that is giving him insomnia and Zach is worrying over it, and in addition to the awesome flangst over that, there are also copious, hilarious Dirty Dancing references and cast-related hijinx. Amazing.

In which the crack flows fast and free after Zach has an awkwardly amazing sex dream involving Chris. Also, Chris seduces Zach with Kierkegaard and monster trucks. Seriously, what's not to love?

In which they've gone domestic (THEY HAVE A BOOK CLUB OF TWO AND SCRABBLE NIGHTS), but it takes all of Chris' friends mauling him with a cluebat before he figures things out. Englishmajor!Chris sets my heart aflutter in a totally embarrassing way.

In which their lives are pretty much entwined, and that's all right by them.

In which the paps kind of become an in-joke with Zach and Chris. Also, they're huge saps.

In which Zach loves Chris for his miiiiiiind. Hahahaha.

In which Chris is a bit of a douche and then he gets tortured by the rest of the crew until he admits he's actually gay for Zach. This fic is horrifying and sort of stupid and it's possible I didn't stop laughing once in its entire 8574 words.

In which Chris is sick and Zach keeps an eye on him. This fic is sort of ridiculous with the vocab/grammar stuff, but it was mostly amusing and enjoyable.

Okay, this is sort of scarily plausible. I mean, it's strip Scrabble. Enough said!
