THE LAUGHS I HAVE SMOTHERED SO AS NOT TO SCARE THE HOUSEHOLD. OH MY GOD, THIS FIC IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT GOLD STANDARD PERFECTION. Which contain the lines: "On the bright side, you know where he works and his name, so you can stalk him."

In which the majority of Sam's soul may be stashed away somewhere he can't find it, but there is a part that will always be a part of Dean, and that part is simple to find. This was such indulgent fixit fic, I can't even, but, BUT, it is also awesome indulgent fixit fic.

In which Sam and Dean slowly become gods, American Gods style. This was hands down gorgeous and not a little bit thrilling.

In which none of them can have all of each other, and the complex layering of jealousies is extremely compelling.

In which Arthur and Eames save people and hunt things, though it's really more like ooze sexual tension and hunt things in this iteration, but then, that may be even truer to the spirit of the thing, if you ask certain fans. God, this is 100% brilliant. There's a sequel (in the works?) that I am very very excited to read.

In which the wincest becomes canon (kind of, a little bit) and this causes things with Jared and Jensen to take a turn.

In which Sam accidentally betrays his deepest, longest held secret, and things get awkward for a long time. This was a spectacularly well-drawn fic. The places, the emotions, all of it was spot-on evocative.

WOAH. I love this girl's style. It has more than a touch of reality to it. They legitimately look like Misha and Jensen.

What in the WORLD? I was laughing, I was staring, I was confused about what I was supposed to be feeling.

In which Jared and Jensen are recast into the late Regency. This fic is a masterpiece. It's connection to the real people it's slashing is tenuous at best, it could be considered original fiction, but I don't hold that against it. It's difficult to explain how engrossing this fic is, but at 150,000+ words, I still burned though a PODFIC of it in 2 days, utterly helpless to tear myself away from this world or these characters. Moreover, it deals in the historical details and atmosphere in a laudably accurate and realistic way, without sacrificing the dramatic irony and pathos that we in the 21C feel toward a gay love affair set 100+ years before it was possible for such a love to be realized in the wider world. This fic made me sit down and really think about the people I love in my life, how lucky I am to have all of them, and to have passion, and to have freedom, and it takes a special power to cause that depth of reflection.

In which Cas has become the core that fills up the places where Dean is hollow. Oh. This was lovely and full and bittersweet in the best way, saving the sweet for last. Also, yay for T.S. Eliot references.

Sam's story through all 5 seasons. Reeeeally well done.

In which Gabriel miraculously rescues Sam from drowning. Adorbz little hurt/comforty type fic.

In which Castiel and Crowley share the back seat. Hahaha, yes, it's as awesome as that sounds.

In which Castiel uses his newfound phenomenal cosmic power to right a few wrongs while he can. Can I just say, Castiel's way to rescue Sam is one of the coolest things I've ever, EVER read? Because it is.

In which we see what a season would be like with a human Cas full time in the Impala. Genderswap, faries, unicorns, angels, oh my! I just love trinityofone.

Pffft. In which super cheesy fic tropes make Dean curious about Cas' susceptibility to tickling IRL. LOLOL, tickle fights. Also, Sam being a little smart ass. I love it. This is actually a lot more self-aware than I am making it out to be, but the fluff is strong in this fic, I admit freely.

In which there is a college AU where Cas is a religion professor and Dean is his student-turned-department-secretary. Ahhhhh, great college AUs, you make me so happy.

In which a kiss is not the whole of the deal. I was insanely creeped out by how much I loved this, and for that I am looking askance at trinityofone.

In which Jensen misdials Jared when he's trying to have phone sex, but when he calls back to apologize, the talk doesn't really manage to stay clean. For a filthy phone sex kink meme fill, this fic was surprisingly adorable.

In which Dean starts Castiel's sexual education mostly out of pity and only later realizes that feelings might have gotten involved. I just. This was. I actually fucking cried at one point in this epic piece of smut. It was so good. Prupruprupru, oh my god, how does she write true love so fucking goddamn well. Also, I loved Sam in this. I loved him with all of my bitchface-loving heart. Nothing about this was not absolute gold.

In which Gabriel and alwaysagirl!Sam get it on. Sam as a girl was rendered spectacularly here, I was almost falling out of my seat laughing by the end of the first paragraph. The patent Sam bitchiness now with girl angst thrown in. It is epic. I love it. Also, the sex is scorchingly hot.

In which twentysomething's Taylor Swift/You Belong With Me AU comes to a certain other kind of happy ending in the back of the Impala. OH MY GOD. *fans self*

In which Sam, Dean, and Cas get stuck in the Internet. Funny!

Beautiful and haunting. I love stuff that takes a close look at The End, and this does that wonderfully. I just love 404ing's style. It has both gracefulness and gravitas.

In which Dean dreamwalks in order to find Cas when he goes missing. This was bittersweet and strange and utterly lovely throughout.

In which high!Sam faces off against Lucifer and wins with the power of hugs! I am not making this up. It's hilarious and really unabashedly sweet in addition to being pretty generally awesome. A+, thumbs up.

In which Castiel is very stressed being the new head honcho in heaven, and Dean is just kind of along for the ride. Hahaha, this was pretty hilarious. I love all these crack fixits for the S5 finale.

In which things go a little pear-shaped when Dean decides the hit the road again and Becky starts looking for Chuck. Post-S5 crackfic for great justice. I don't think I can even describe how utterly insane this fic is, but it is a fun kind of crazy that put a lingering smile on my face.

"DEAN: Cas, are you God? CAS: (o_o) No. But he just asked me to sign a "Team Free Will" t-shirt." HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, spoilers for the finale.

In which Dean is discovering Castiel's personality, flaws and all, and is kind of fascinated.

In which Deanna and Cas are stupidly in love with each other and Sam makes them go on a real date and it's kind of perfect. Ugggggh, cavities, but also this was super hot and super lovely, and I am never going to complain about fluff when it is done this well.

In which they wake up together for the first time. Very, very nice.

In which we see the Famine episode and the fallout from Castiel's perspective. This was hugely evocative and kind of spectacularly rendered. The detail of Castiel eating meat is so painstakingly thorough it's like a sledgehammer to your gut and somehow it really highlights the subtle flares of emotion that come during and after that traumatic experience.

In which Crowley watches as Dean keeps trying to tell Sam about him and Cas. Hilarious!

Hahaha, if Supernatural was a flat out comedy show.

In which Gabriel proposes, and snark ensues. This was sooooooo cute, seriously, I am grinning ear to ear.

In which Cas comes back after 5x19. There's reunion makeouts in the rain. I like!

Castiel wants Dean to cut the chit chat and get down to business. And by business, I mean business-time kind of business. OH MY GOD, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. DYING. LITERALLY DYING. Oh Cas, you bamf.

In which Dean works for the supernatural unit of the city's police department and Cas is called in to be his angelic partner on a big and extra scary case of demonic murder and sacrifice. Scratchy and raw and still very, very much them. Though there were times when I felt the development of it was a bit jerky, the relationship that slowly blossomed here was really compelling. And the universe that the author builds up here--a world where the supernatural threat is out in the open--is fucking awesome, no qualifications necessary.

Cas is a badass and sometimes fandom forgets that. Well, no longer!

In which Castiel gets addicted to texting. This will never not be the best premise ever. I liked that some of the texts were serious, too. Love it when Cas shows his all-too-earnest side.

In which they're kicking back at Bobby's for a little while, and Dean takes it upon himself to teach Cas a thing or two about being human. This includes, but is not limited to: cars, driving which somehow begins with mario kart, swearing, and the significance of the phrase "me love you long time." HAHAHAHA, FICS LIKE THIS, PLEASE NEVER STOP GETTING WRITTEN. ILUSFM.

In which Castiel is Taylor Swift in this You Belong With Me AU. Ahhhh, I was kind of pissed that Jo just got shoved into the role of generic bitchy girlfriend, but Castiel was soooooooo cute, and Dean as the golden boy baseball jock just lit up my life, so I cannot dislike this fic, ever.

In which Becky gets stuck fallen-angel-sitting and they bond by arguing over meta (lolol the unadventures of a Sam girl and a Dean girl lolol). THIS. WAS. AWESOME. OSSUM. I lost my breath laughing at least three times and the fic is just full of crazy one liners and insanely hilarious meta insights and I just. cannot. squee. enough. Also, Becky calling Dean Chewy and Cas CP30 just about slayed me with delight.

In which Castiel is Lucifer and Dean is his consort and they gleefully raise Hell together, absolutely literally. I. LOVED. THIS. It made no sense, it was epic, it was epic nonsensical crack. In other words, it was awesome.

In which the Kali of India feels the loss of the Kali in the land where Lucifer walks. This was so American Gods-y, and awesome, and so, so empowering.

In which Castiel reads Dean's mind and still manages to get it completely wrong. Which contains the lines: "You think I kiss terribly. You don't want me to use your masturbatory fantasies against you. You hate that I just said 'masturbatory,' because that means I know you masturbate to the thought of me. You want me to stop talking. Now you're imagining pinning me to the wall to shut me up and see if I enjoy it."

In which Sam and Dean kill the devil, leaving the job of Prince of Hell vacant, an occupation which Castiel decides to take on and reinvent in an imaginative way. This was just hands down, prostrate yourself AWESOME. The humor and the cleverness slayed me over and over. A++++++++++ times a million.

In which Castiel interferes in his own love life. This was AWESOME. And unexpectedly insightful at times.

In which Castiel meets Joshua and Joshua has a few pieces of insight to offer him. Coda to 5x18. Ahhhhh, really lovely.

In which Sam watches the DVD all the way through, just in case there's something important on there, and lo and behold... HahahaHAHA, loved it. Oh man, best fix it ever. Coda to 5x19.

In which they're both a bit broken after the apocalypse ends, but Castiel has it figured out enough for the both of them that they can at least find happiness. This was weird and kind of sad and kind of awesome. Would read again.

In which Dean gives Castiel a massage that for once doesn't finish with a happy ending. Ahhh, this was lovely and quiet and good.

In which the author spins out a tale of how the apocalypse might be averted, and what the hell that might have to do with Dean and Castiel finally getting together. I really liked this. The voice of the author was kind of hilarious, and yes, often slightly annoying, but always in a self-conscious way that I respected and quickly learned to enjoy.

In which Dean teaches Cas the art of emoticons and learns a bit about what Cas is thinking under his :| exterior. Teeheehee, adorable.

In which we get a beautiful, very literal, look into the angels' heads, and something is produced which is quite profound. I am in awe, and the ending just cinched it. Perfect 10.

In which Castiel finds strength within himself, and that helps to recuperate some of his lost faith. Ungh, so good. This Castiel fits really truly with the bitter bamf we know and love on the show. I just loved this.

In which Sam is not dealing very well with the wealth of PDA he's witnessing from his brother and his angel buddy. HILARIOUS. Oh, Sam, ILU.

WAAAAAAAH. Basically, I wish this was canon as no doubt does 100% of the Dean/Cas contingent of fandom. Coda to 5.16.
